Our Activities

Aikatan Sangha

Serving Humanity with Heart

Cloth Distribution

Dara Aikatan Sangha organizes regular cloth distribution drives to support underprivileged families. In 2024 alone, over 1,500 people received clothing essentials. These efforts ensure dignity and protection against seasonal hardships. Volunteers collect and sort donations before distributing them in rural and urban slum areas. With each drive, we work to strengthen our commitment to reducing material inequality and promoting community welfare.

Blanket Distribution

During harsh winters, Dara Aikatan Sangha steps up to distribute blankets to those in need. Over 2,000 blankets were handed out last year across remote villages. These efforts aim to safeguard vulnerable populations from the cold, especially children and the elderly. The initiative is supported by donors and carried out with the help of local youth, ensuring warmth and hope reach every doorstep.

Health Check-up Camp

Aikatan Sangha conducts free health check-up camps to promote early diagnosis and treatment. These camps have benefited more than 3,000 individuals in the past year. Services include general consultations, blood pressure checks, and diabetes screenings. Local doctors and medical staff volunteer their time, making quality healthcare accessible to all, particularly in areas where regular medical facilities are scarce or absent.

Eye Check-up Camp

Vision is often neglected in rural healthcare. So, we hold eye camps for early detection of issues. Every year, 800 patients receive check-ups, provided with medicines and spectacles at no cost. We also collaborate with hospitals Cataract cases are referred for free surgery through partner hospitals. The camps not only offer treatment but also raise awareness on eye care, helping people see a clearer, brighter future.

Environmental Protection

Environmental conservation is central to Aikatan Sangha’s mission. Our group organizes tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and awareness sessions. In the past year, we planted over 2,500 trees across schools, roadsides, and barren land. These efforts aim to combat climate change, reduce pollution, and instill eco-conscious values in the community. Active youth participation ensures a greener, healthier future for all.
